Evaluation6 : What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

When doing this project and creating the magazine, I have learnt how to use different  technologies and I have learnt a variety of new a different technology and equipment. For the images used in the music magazine I used  a Nikon SLR professional camera, which has a lot of different setting, so I found it hard to use however by the end of the project I now know which setting is correct for different situations. With the camera I used a tripod to steady the camera and so my shots were perfectly straight, also the tripod helped me to be able to take high shots. I used a variety of professional lights which allowed me change the appearance of my location and the light enabled me to create shadows.

I used a number of computer programmes to present and create my work, I used these programmes on my own laptop and a college computer. To design and create my three magazine pages I used a programme called Photoshop, this was difficult to start with as it has so many tools but I spend time working out what most did, so now I have the knowledge of how to use Photoshop I can use this in the future. I used a online programme called SlideShare this let me upload power points I had created in to a presentation, it was very help up as I couldn't put my power point straight on to the blog. The online programme I used the most would be Blogger, this was where I presented my whole project from planning to final piece it was very simple to use. Another programme I used was power point this allowed me to edit and create my presentations before sending them to slideshare. One main area I found my research upon was Google the search engine.
